  • Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the La-ngu Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Pak Nam Subdistrict Administrative Organization, La-ngu District, Satun Province and Wasina Farm with Yunus Thailand on SEAWEED SOCIAL BUSINESS on September 21, 2022
  • This MOU signing aims to support the development of the seaweed industry in Thailand to be safe, sustainable and equitable by creating guidelines to expand the seaweed market in Thailand both locally and internationally.
  • Through forging long-term partnerships with local government and community leaders, Yunus Thailand works to ensure the ownership of the Thai seaweed industry remains in the hands of local communities and entrepreneurs, which potentially will develop to be role models and leaders in the Thai seaweed industry and ecosystem.
